At PANKH, governance is designed to do just that. Rather than placing leadership in the hands of a single organisation, responsibility is shared across members, working groups and the Shared Leadership Council (SLC), with the Facilitariat providing the administrative and operational support that keeps the collective moving
The aim is to help PANKH stay true to the purpose shaped by its members, while creating enough structure for people to take responsibility, collaborate, and grow together.
The SLC guides the collective’s direction, supports the Working Groups, reviews the health and progress of the collective, and holds the Facilitariat accountable to the larger collective.
It is also a space for leadership to be shared and nurtured. Members bring different organisational experiences, perspectives and generations of leadership to the table, allowing PANKH to grow through collective wisdom rather than a single voice.
The Shared Leadership Council
The Shared Leadership Council (SLC) is the collective’s shared leadership space.It reflects inter-generational leadership by bringing together the Convener and Co-Conveners, the Anchors and Co-Anchors of the Working Groups, along with funders and selected co-opted members.
